@pony Never got into the Boy Bands, though...
-
@flaredancer I never really got into the music in general except what i heard friends listen to. I liked some of the boy band songs. xD

@pony I mostly grew up listening to The Police, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult... the stuff my parents listened to. The only music of my generation I really liked was The Spice Girls.
-
@flaredancer hmm.. That's the thing.. my mother never listened to music st home or in the car except sometimes a bit of classical.

@pony That's so weird to me. My best friend's parents are like that, too.
-
@flaredancer My wife's parents like older stuff because they're around 60 now so my wife likes that sort of thing too. :3

@pony My parents are stoners from the 70s, so I grew up listening to rock'n'roll and very early metal lol I like all sorts of stuff, but tend to not like pop and rap and stuff like that. Most of what I usually to listen to is Goth and Industrial.
-
@flaredancer I love that sort of thing myself. Icon of Coil was one of the first I really liked. My parents grew up during the 70s too. My mom is only 15 years older than me.

@pony Oh, wow. My parents are presently twice my age. In elementary school my favorite bands were Queen and The Police. I was the weird kid
-
@flaredancer lol* I didn't know many grade schoolers who liked that sort of thing, yeah.

@pony It was great talking about Alice Cooper to my classmates. "Oh, yeah, I think I've heard of her." *facehoof*
-
@flaredancer lol! I made that mistake too actually more than once. Reminds me of the movie Dark Shadows.

@flaredancer He played in that movie and the main character, a vampire played by Depp, kept calling him a horribly ugly woman or something to that effect. !lol
