@bitshift Gilda often tires of Scootaloo's antics and they fight all the time, but sometimes they can just be together and have a good time about older sisters. The fact that Scootaloo still looks up to Dash even though the latter completely dropped her friendship with Gilda is one of the biggest strains on the two stepsisters' relationship.

@redenchilada See, I think there's about a 0% chance this will actually happen, but I would still totally buy it. (Mostly because it would mean we get more stuff about griffons, but still.)

@bitshift For all the fights the two sisters have, they still share a deep emotional bond as sisters. Scoots' scooter is actually a hand-me-down from Gilda, who is consistently impressed with Scoots' abilities on it. The reason Scootaloo can't fly is because her griffon parents can neither teach her themselves (as griffons and pegasi use different methods of flight) nor send her to flight camp (as griffons are generally unable to deal with ponies; the only reason Scoots is able to attend school is because the law requires it.)
