Auuuuuuuugh my dad appleses me off. This isn't one of those stupid "oh he grounded me boohoo" grapes-offs. He's legitly done something stupid, and it's made me mad. xD

@minti He bought a dog from a family member saying he has too much time on his hands and he needs something to do (like take care of a dog). A day later, he's complaining about it and he wants to get rid of it. >_>

@minti We should invent a ranking system for this sort of thing. Ranging from tier 1: told me to get off the internet and get a job right up to tier 10: Had me kidnapped and sent to one of those escape-proof bible camps in the desert.

@minti Yeah they're a thing. Parents sign over temporary guardianship of the kids to these things, they come to your house whilst you're asleep, have two burly gentlemen cuff you and throw you in a van, drive and or fly you to the middle of nowhere, where you are literally brainwashed into doing whatever the camp was about. The signover of guardianship is so that if an escapee tries to contact the police, the police take you to the camp, not your real parents, and so that the camp can have you classified as a runaway to get police assistance in getting you back. It's sick and I'm shocked that it remains legal.

@minti And because they're your "parents", for the duration of your stay, they get special legal treatment with regards to the use of violence.
