@minti I mean, I actually agree with several of the things there (even if that post takes a much more negative tone than I would), but it saddens me that "Sugar Dancer" (I'm not even for a second gonna assume that's anything but a made-up name) didn't say this to my face, and instead submitted it to some random tumblr.

@minti I'm... conflicted. On the one hand, it definitely bothers me, but on the other hand, it does make some pretty good points (this is one of the things bothering me about it - if it was just "dis oc iz stupid" I could dismiss it as an idiot out to annoy someone, but short of misinterpreting the cutie mark, there's not much actually wrong there).

@bitshift I don't take issue with deconstructing somebody's design, but it's chicken of them to do it to some random blog instead of telling the person themselves so that they can improve. It tells me they're too afraid the person will be upset at them, and that they're unwilling to say it like it is. I dunno, though, maybe I'm reading too much into it.

@redenchilada No, that's pretty much what I took from it, too. But on the off chance it was just that they wanted to be very frank with their thoughts, and thought I'd fly off the handle at them for it: "Sugar Dancer", whoever you really are, feel free to criticise my OC. Just maybe say it to me, instead of a tumblr blog, next time?
