@ixkaijen1xi it's basically just the roleplay version of RDN. You make your own pony/character and then ask somepony there with the #ooc tag (out-of-character) whether they'd like to role play with you. I got my OC settled in Ponyville there a little while ago.

@ixkaijen1xi Lyrica uses Photoshop and i use Inkscape for vectoring. If you like the style in those 2 pics you might do well to learn vectoring. There are some good tutorials on Youtube. lemme see... This looks good for a Photoshop tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQ0htxriSCE Inkscape is free unlike Photoshop though. @ixkaijen1xi If you don't want to listen to that guy ramble I recommend finding a walkthrough tutorial like this one I used when I started: http://vector.tutsplus.com/tutorials/illustration/how-to-create-a-vector-light-bulb-icon-with-inkscape/ I had previous experience with Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro vectoring before I used that tutorial so it came somewhat easily, but it may take a vector newbie longer. @ixkaijen1xi if you go with the second Inkscape tutorial then afterward you'd do well to look at a speed tracing pony video like this to get an idea of how to trace ponies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WS9czL15Giw Tracing is Lyrica's main method, and I use it a lot as well.

@moonprincess @ixkaijen1xi xD I trace from screencaps mostly just for props and canon manes.. otherwise I trace from my own drawings since that's just easier than going from scratch in inkscape. xP This is something I traced from my own drawing: http://ur1.ca/a67af

@pony I used my own drawing there for everything but the manes tails, bow, and muffin. of course I looked at reference to get the proportions right as well.
