  1. Wow, the latest Mustard beta really does not have any public timeline support... Time to downgrade...

    1. @omni Why would they take that out?

      1. @abigpony I have no idea. It is terrible on multiple levels, though. The interface redesign is awful too, for example, and it STILL randomly crashes.

        1. @omni pretty much everything has random crashes. It's just a fact of technology I guess. It was really basic as is, so i guess they must have felt they needed to work on it or something. http://ur1.ca/a6usa

          1. @abigpony It's because developers can't usually predict ALL situations a user may use their software. The more users you get, the more gets fixed, and the more bugs are found cause people try to do stupid stuff with your software. ;p

            1. @minti So you're saying it's all because of people who mess with stuff because they think they can make it better? Sounds familiar.

Tuesday, 11-Sep-12 05:30:19 UTC from web
              1. @abigpony No, just people using stuff period. There's so many different environments in which a peice of software can run, and so many different actions you can take upon said software that it's bound to break at some point because of something you never predicted. xD

                1. @minti so it breaks from people running it from things that they made it for?

Tuesday, 11-Sep-12 05:34:12 UTC from web
                  1. @abigpony Quite the opposite, it breaks because people ran it in a specific setup that wasn't accounted for. It could be a very minute difference, like a different manufacturer of a GFX card but it could still trigger some retarded bug in the software causing it to crash. xD

                    1. @minti I don't understand. Seems like things break for everyone because someone uses something with even the smallest difference from any other computer.

                      1. @abigpony Nah, I'm just accounting for specific crashes that happen once in a blue moon and no one knows why. Crashes that are reproducible are just stupid/lazy developers. :p

                        1. @minti All you programmer types just hate everything anybody else makes, don't you?

Tuesday, 11-Sep-12 05:42:14 UTC from web
                          1. @abigpony No, we hate our own stuff to!

                            1. @minti Y'all are never satisfied with anything. I can relate to that.

Tuesday, 11-Sep-12 05:44:10 UTC from web
                              1. @abigpony :p Gist of what I'm trying to say is that, we can try to fix every bug but never will. This is why random crashes exist. xD

Tuesday, 11-Sep-12 05:44:36 UTC from web
                                1. @minti It's like you people try and fix something for one person, so you muss it up for everyone else. That seems like progressive programming in a nutshell.

                                  1. @abigpony That's .. pretty accurate actually. Now imagine owning a huge program like steam. xD #

                                    1. @minti They do a mighty fine job because they don't take big risks apparently.

                    2. @minti @abigpony I mess with stuff to see how it works...

        2. @omni I see 0.4.0beta8 in !fdroid but it's greyed out for whatever reason. A also new 0.3.3a however isn't.
