  1. You know what bugs me about cloudsdale.org? The splash image on the front page showcases two earth ponies standing not merely on clouds, but in mid-air.

    1. @redenchilada Also it's badly scaled. Also also it loads the entire page using javascript, which is horrible.

      1. @bitshift I haven't actually looked into it aside from the front page.

        1. @redenchilada @bitshift All it is is a really bizarre chat service with some kind of link skimming thing bolted onto it.

        2. @redenchilada Even the front page is loaded using javascript - go there without it on (or with noscript, which is how I tested for that) and you just get a loading spinner. No page at all.

        3. @redenchilada I mean, I have nothing against javascript - it's really useful in its rightful place. But when your page doesn't even have any content unless it's on, you done goofed.

    2. @widget It actually doesn't any more. They had to back down on that after the outrage about it (turns out when you're a site that straight-up recommended NoScript at one point, your users don't take kindly to that sort of thing), so now it does work without.

    3. @widget I think it still uses JS to load pages if you have it on, but since they also make it work correctly in the static version, that's actually a good thing, since it can save load that way.

    4. @widget I stopped visiting around the same time for unrelated reasons, but occasionally arbitrary searches lead me back there, so I did eventually notice it was fixed.
