    I'm trying out newsbeuter as a podcast client... I've used it as an RSS reader for some time already.

      @sazius I use it for both too! But it doesn't get used much compared to Sparse rss and Podax on my phone.

        @jla I've got a smartphone, but I prefer to listen to podcasts from a separate player anyway (sansa clip+ w/ rockbox).

        @jla ... hence the need for a podcast client on my computer. I then sync the files to my player with unison :-)

          @sazius OK. What I do is put download-path "~/Podcasts/%n" in .newsbeuter/config.

            @jla Yeah, that's what I've got as well. But then I need to synchronise that with my sansa clip mobile player which is mounted over USB.
