    1. @lovetolerateandsquee It should be D: (Or whatever partition your Windows files are on) > Users > Your name on your Windows install.

            2. @cavatina @minti Plus there's at least one "beginner" Linux distro that uses a horrendous array of symlinks to give the illusion of a familliar windows filesystem

          2. @minti ReactOS is Windows remade from scratch. That doesn't count :P

    2. @lovetolerateandsquee Did you install it via the live CD, or via the "install from inside Windows" option?

Wednesday, 19-Sep-12 20:54:12 UTC from web
    3. @lovetolerateandsquee Pick the hard drive that seems to you as the right size for your windows hard drive, unless you wiped them all, it should be there

Wednesday, 19-Sep-12 20:55:09 UTC from web
    4. @lovetolerateandsquee Open the file manager and look for a "harddisk" icon, that's your Windows drive.

Wednesday, 19-Sep-12 20:55:25 UTC from MuSTArDroid
      1. @omni "305 GB filesystem"?

Wednesday, 19-Sep-12 20:56:16 UTC from web
        1. @lovetolerateandsquee Right click that, "mount". Browse it. If you have a folder called "users" that's your windows drive. Your desktop should be /media/windows/Users/name/Desktop xD or something

Wednesday, 19-Sep-12 20:57:11 UTC from web
          1. @minti Stop! Too complicated and wrong! (Because Ubuntu auto-mounts it)

Wednesday, 19-Sep-12 20:59:16 UTC from MuSTArDroid
            1. @omni Does it? Huh.

Wednesday, 19-Sep-12 20:59:39 UTC from web
              1. @minti I think it does, but now I think I may be wrong. I'm sorry for yelling... v.v

Wednesday, 19-Sep-12 21:00:53 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                1. @omni Actually, it does. I just have a habit of over complicating things. XD

Wednesday, 19-Sep-12 21:02:07 UTC from web
                  1. @minti Most distributions assume less and let you decide yourself more, I guess. Still, I shouldn't have yelled, I'm sorry... v.v (Bed time)

Wednesday, 19-Sep-12 21:03:51 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                    1. @omni I actually didn't even think you yelled to be honest. xD

        2. @lovetolerateandsquee that sounds like it. Unless you renamed your C drive in windows, like I did. (Windows the Seventh :P)

        3. @lovetolerateandsquee That sounds like a possibility, though I don't know the size of your Windows drive.
