  1. It feels so weird to be on SPC with some of the people from here, but half a decade after, all of us old and wise now. But I'm thankful for those connections, and for this place's uncanny ability to bring to light the most interesting people.

Who could have predicted that we'd go from bronies to shamans and wizards.

    2. @nerthos I don't know why I keep coming back here. Maybe just wanting to feel those sweet memories from 2013-2014

      1. @oracle I keep checking because, even if there's little willingness to talk it seems, I still respect and appreciate some people here.

    3. @nerthos all it takes is being a kind of weirdo.

      1. @awl I don't think weirdo's get old and wise. Just old and more crafty on how to hide their weirdness.

I am certainly one of 'those'

        1. @drinkingpony The older I get the less hidden the weirdness gets because I stopped caring as much.

          1. @thismightbeauser Dito. Though with the added effect of also becoming mindful of the path I walk in life. Together with the realization that the world is changing around me as I am changing. Are things changing for the better ? Arguably so, both yes and no.

With the world in a constant state of flux that it is. Do you really think my weirness stands out or is noticed at all ? Yesterday I found out that my weirdness was eclypsed by child drag for as far as people's shock and awe goes. I mean I was litterally talking about buying and assembling a 3D printer so I could print ponies when someone went on a tangent about 'this shocking development, how could parrents allow their child to do this, bad taste, rabble rabble'.

            1. @drinkingpony Each decade brings a weirdness to eclipse the previous one

              1. @nerthos That is not untrue if not a somewhat really scary one. For who is to say howmuch decades it will take before fursuits are completely acceptable to wear in public.

            2. @drinkingpony I don't really even get the big problem with drag. It's loud and over the top, sure, but it doesn't have to be sexy or kinky.

              1. @thismightbeauser Doesn't matter. There is shock and awe. Does not matter if they even raise concerns you agree with or not. I am just annoyed that it makes a large enough stink that I hear the screeching harpies on both sides of the arguement and it makes me sigh.

"Please just let me enjoy my Pizza without both Gordon Ramsay and Massimiliano Alajmo screaming at me about the existance of Pineapple." is what I am essentially saying.

      2. @awl Ye. It'd be nice if a few more people joined us, if they won't be very active anyway.
