@drinkingpony "Haferkleie" is the stuff that remains in the sieve after sieving the ground oat (flour) like the shells and the outer layers of the oat seeds. "Haferflocken" is the oats being shaped into flakes (like corn flakes).

@adiwan Haferkleie is oat bran in English and Haferflocken is oat flakes in English as far as the online translators say.
