        1. @mrmattimation Rented, or a friend's? How'd you do? I used to have a Bersa Thunder .380 (because it was a "James Bond gun clone" lol), a Henry .22LR lever action rifle, and a Mossberg 12 gauge pump action something shotgun. Never did better than "might be able to pass a license test (but not now ha ha)" on the pistol, got alright with the longer guns.

          1. @scribus Rented from the range. I think I did okay (it was my first time even holding a gun) though the farthest I shot was seven yards so I definitely wouldn't have won any awards or anything like that http://rainbowdash.net/url/875433

              1. @scribus thanks, haha. it was fun. i might go back. maybe that makes me a bit of a hypocrite given how preachy i've gotten both online and irl about the need for stringent gun control but whatever

          2. @scribus The longer guns tend to be easier, mostly because they're heavier and you have the sights farther away from eachother, as well as better grip. I remember my cousin taking about how he couldn't hit anything with handguns but had no issues with a FAL. Handguns do have the advantage in quick target aquisition since they don't require you to focus your vision as much.

              1. @scribus That's true, rifle tricks are hard, and doubly so with optics attached.

                  1. @scribus That's true. I'm quite fond of cowboy action shooting and revolver ocelot types though.
