  1. My company laptop is so configured that it automatically locks the screen after 15 minutes of inactivity. There is no way to alter its behaviour because this was set by the admin via a policy. HOWEVER I used a AutoHotkey script that wiggles the mouse by one pixel back and forth once every 14 minutes.

      1. @scribus I'd say it's a creative workaround. I also could use a slightly flaky optical mouse that glitches from time to time and moves the mouse cursor slightly despite standing still.
