    Also the general inevitability of suicide attempt, or accident, or close call is pretty off-putting. Less terrifying on a bus than a train, easier to stop, able to swerve... like that time I almost ran over a doofus on a skateboard in all black with the hoodie up at night - WHEN THERE WAS A BIKE LANE they coulda been in!! ugh, people sometimes....

      @scribus It's also not fun being almost a victim of being run over. I can count about a dozen of events when I or the driver weren't paying attention. 3 were last year from suffering neighbour-induced insomnia.
