  1. Barely a day has passed and I got a flat on the same tire.

    1. @adiwan Think it was the same flat, too?

      1. @scribus The same tire was affected. The back one with all the most annoying to service. I don't know if the pucture is in the same spot but at this point I'm fed up and I don't want to spend any time investigating or fixing it. I just ordered a new set of tires and tubes just to get rid of any variables introduced by my current setup. Also the tires are at this point probably 10 years old, so needing to buy new ones are not unsurprising. In my possession they have almost 2000km. The profile looks good and the rubber doesn't crumble but at this age they became harder and thus reducing the grip on the road.

        1. @adiwan You ever try that leak-stop Slime stuff?

          1. @scribus nah. It doesn't appeal that much. I don't know what to do when it's slathered all over the inner side of the tire.

            1. @adiwan I never have, either. But we sell a fair bit of it at work, even tubes pre-lined with it.
