    1. @minti windows is pretty hype

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:42:24 UTC from MuSTArDroid
      1. @abigpony Within 5 minutes of using it I apparently corrupted my entire user profile. xD

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:43:03 UTC from web
        1. @minti That just means you're doing it wrong.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:43:40 UTC from web
        2. @minti Good to know I'm not the only one who has the most impossible issues under Windows when I barely touch it.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:43:53 UTC from web
        3. @minti You're officially worse than some of the people I have to bail out.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:44:21 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
          1. @eaglehooves :p At least I'm able to fix it.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:44:52 UTC from web
            1. @minti True. Everyone at IT has the oddest most impossible ball of non-standard software on their personal machine.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:46:00 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
        4. @minti that doesn't happen. How does that even work?

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:44:42 UTC from MuSTArDroid
          1. @abigpony I don't even know! D: I tried to reinstall CCleaner and apparently the installer corrupted my entire user directory and my temp directory is now "corrupted and unreadable" ...

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:45:34 UTC from web
            1. @minti sounds like a personal problem

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:47:44 UTC from MuSTArDroid
    2. @minti I like them, and being able to look outside.

        1. @minti bahahaha! Silly minti. Talking about an OS on a pony site? #

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:47:54 UTC from web
          1. @thehighlander At least it's not a browser war.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:48:31 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
            1. @eaglehooves IE MASTER RACE

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:48:51 UTC from web
              1. @minti SAFARI (on Windows) FTW.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:50:16 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
            2. @eaglehooves why would we war with browsers? Just choose one and deal.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:50:23 UTC from web
              1. @thehighlander Because apparently every browser is superior to every other browser (except IE)

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:50:48 UTC from web
                1. @minti @eaglehooves you tell those punks that if they don't use IE they don't rate. #

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:53:28 UTC from web
              2. @thehighlander Because I know more than a few people who don't care whether you use OS X or Windows, BUT YOU MUST BE USING CHROME!!1!

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:51:57 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
          2. @thehighlander you would be surprised. Really surprised.

    3. @minti Get double glazing.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:45:25 UTC from web
    4. @widget it never does without asking for backup for me.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:46:56 UTC from MuSTArDroid
      1. @abigpony It does it without asking me anything whenever it manages to freeze completely and I need to forcefully shut it down.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:48:11 UTC from web
        1. @omni that doesn't do anything for me. It just... Shuts down.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:50:13 UTC from MuSTArDroid
          1. @abigpony I mean when I turn it on again afterwards.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:50:45 UTC from web
            1. @omni yeah, i still get no problems there.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:52:08 UTC from MuSTArDroid
              1. @abigpony Are we both talking about the same CHKDSK? I'm talking about this one, which runs after a bad shutdown (you can cancel it, but if you let it run it doesn't mind deleting stuff by itself): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CHKDSK

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:53:16 UTC from web
                1. @omni i don't even know what that is.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:55:29 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                  1. @abigpony It's a stupid thing that runs if you turn your computer off abnormally (Ie power outage.) It'll try "repairing" any damaged files by deleting them. xD

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:56:19 UTC from web
                    1. @minti but windows DOESN'T do that.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:58:50 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                      1. @abigpony Yeah it does, first hand experience here. xD

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 17:59:11 UTC from web
                        1. @minti same. It doesn't anymore. Windows autosaves. If it crashes, it comes right back where you left off.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 18:01:41 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                          1. @abigpony Not for me. If you cut power to the machine it flips the crap out for me. xD

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 18:02:15 UTC from web
                            1. @minti i seriously don't get how people have so many problems with things.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 18:04:37 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                              1. @abigpony I'm prone to having stupid retarded problems with stuff, so what I use usually depends on how easy it is to troubleshoot and solve any problems I run into.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 18:05:19 UTC from web
                          2. @abigpony I have had it several times under Vista (well, let's talk about 50+) and 7. It still happens, otherwise it, well, wouldn't happen, you know?

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 18:02:54 UTC from web
                            1. @omni that's the first i've heard of it past xp.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 18:05:32 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                          3. @abigpony @minti Mind you, I'm literally talking about UNPLUGGING IT while it's running. If you just press the power button it'll happly shut down and not display chkisk EPIC DOS MODE. xD

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 18:04:22 UTC from web

                                2. @minti It lives on in a perfectly cromulent manner in the form of FreeDOS.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 18:09:15 UTC from web
                            4. @minti yeah, then it does a quick recovery on reboot and it recovers to where it was when it froze or you unplugged it.

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 18:06:28 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                              1. @abigpony Huh? Mine just totally reboots, does chkdisk cause Windows was shut down abnormally (you can skip this but it asks you on every reboot after -.-) then does a normal boot, not a hybernate or w.e

Wednesday, 03-Oct-12 18:07:21 UTC from web
                                1. @minti mine just does a quick recovery and whatnot. Whatever. Maybe i'm just... I don't know.
