@anarchycarcino No, as in burn onto a disc. Dreamcasts made before October 2000 can play burned copies of games. I tried it with Shenmue when the copy I spent $40 on didn't work, but I couldn't get it to work even though the test disc worked.

@redenchilada I know that on Sega CD games the soundtrack files are .MP3s and I had a copy of Sonic CD with Metallica as the ST because of that. \m/

@redenchilada Yeah, and AFAIK there's no copy protection because Sega CD kinda predated widespread home CD-Rs.

@redenchilada Let's see, Jet Grind Radio is a must, I loved playing House of the Dead 2 (But I have that on Xbox now.) Gundam rise from the ashes, The Flogian brothers, I think we had Gauntlet? It was good times in video games.

@anarchycarcino You should suggest more DC games. I can run Shenmue at full FPS 720p on an emulator so I'd like to have more stuff to take nullDC for a spin with. (And also if I ever get burns working properly or come across them in one of the many oldie shops around here.)

@anarchycarcino You know what should happen? Someone should mod the old ChuChu Rocket to connect to a new unofficial server and start up an online scene for that game again. I was too young to witness that and I wanna see what I missed out on.

@anarchycarcino Same here. I'll probably get it when it comes out on Steam so I'll have it on something I can carry around, but otherwise I don't see the point in buying it again. (Then again, aside from the 360 version I've owned every release of the original Adventure, sooo)

@redenchilada Have you tried using a "boot disc?" It's like, you fire it up, get through the system boot & title screens, then switch games while it's running, or something.

@doctorscribus My ISO was self-booting, but I tried it with and without the boot disc. (The boot disc ran fine, but that was it. I will note I don't think my drive can burn at the speeds recommended for DC pirates, though. :c)
