@dlcentaur I've already looked through those, I want to know how I should go about doing it. Do I just join the irc and talk to the mods there, or do I need to make an arrangement or what? Sorry, I'm kinda not sure and I was hoping you could help me out. :)

@dlcentaur I don't think it should affect my performance. Although I would prefer an actual keyboard, it shouldn't be a problem. Do you have any advice though? Also, how often do people get turned down for a character role? Do you have to be really good at it, or is it the effort that counts?

@tekkdan Well, usually for characters like the Main Six, or other canon characters, you have to be good. But for somepony like Colgate (otherwise known as Minuette), a massive effort isn't usually required. I would still do my absolute best, though. Take your time in writing your first post and during your RP with a Mod. Make sure there are no misspellings or grammatical errors. Just be sure that your writing flows!~ :D

@dlcentaur attempting to put the pieces together So when you audition in the IRC room, you would make an introduction post like on the RP site so then one of the mods can roleplay with your character?

@dlcentaur Anything else you think I should know? Sorry if I keep asking all these questions, it's just that I didn't want to walk in there clueless. Won't the mods there answer any questions or concerns I have when I go to audition? Oh, and should I just use this username when I join the channel? Thanks for the help so far, I appreciate it. :)

@dlcentaur To be honest I wasn't really wanting to make an oc, but I suppose I will if I have to. Might take me a while to create one that I like and that I'm comfortable with.
