@thelastgherkin Ars Technica did an excellent article on various succesfully executed vote rigging schemes using touchscreen devices. In the past it's only been small scale local elections that have been stolen in this way, but all of the vulnerabilities have been known for quite some time.

@ceruleanspark Rumour has it that all the stops are being pulled out when it comes to underhanded tactics. Allegedly there's been cold calls claiming to be party A telling them to vote on day X, when they're actually from party B and the election is on day X-1.

@thelastgherkin You can say Republicans. Because we all know that when it comes to borderline criminal underhanded behaviour, they are simply the best there is.

@thelastgherkin Richard "And once I'm swept into office, I'll sell our children's organs to zoos for meat. And I'll go into people's houses at night and wreck up the place!" Nixon was a republican. That should be sufficient.

@widget Was that a typo or were you asking for an article on voter suppression?

@widget Huffpo is trash, Fox wouldn't cover it, and I block the daily mail on my network. It redirects to teaandkittens.com, so no worries on that part. One moment.
