    1. @sazius You need to watch it! :) But I've talked to you about this before. @mjjzf If you find out, let us know, I like Soviet scifi.

      1. @jla sounds cool, mind pointing me to a few of the movies? :)

        1. @tekk Well, Solaris is the other Tarkovsky sci-fi film but they are all worth watching, there isn't many. Bergman and Bresson was his biggest inspirations so that was the natural progression for me.

          1. @jla Oh yeah, I've seen Solaris. Much better than the Hollywood version :)

            1. @sazius I saw that the Hollywood version was on TV once but didn't watch it, so I can't comment.

              1. @jla I don't remember it that well anymore, but I guess it was OK. But the Russian version was better IMHO.

      2. @jla I remember seeing The Stalker somewhere online (and legal), but didn't work without Flash or something like that :-P

        1. @sazius Yeah, it's on Youtube and so are Ivan's Childhood, Solaris, The Mirror and Andrei Rublev all under the mosfilm account but Flash is required.

          1. @jla if I remember correctly I struggled to get youtube-dl to fetch it but seems it was DRM'd somehow. Perhaps easier to just buy on DVD :)
