Jesus: "Hello child, would you li-" *BLAM* Nerthos: " Se acaba de ser revocado."
Saturday, 01-Dec-12 00:52:31 UTC from StatusNet Android- RDN's Lucifer likes this.
-
@anarchycarcino "Este es MI mundo, barbudo en toga"
-
@nerthos That's all backwards. It's "esta el mundo de mi."
-
@zeldatra Kid, Spanish is my native language. I know Spanish at least twice as well than English.
RedEnchilada (notice the lack of a space) likes this. -
@nerthos Say it in English, my phone is being a Dick.
-
@anarchycarcino "This is MY world, you bearded guy in a robe"
-
@nerthos Yeah? Well Spanish is my second language and I barely know it. I think I know it better.
-
@nerthos Seriously though, I could've sworn it was the other way around though.
-
@zeldatra Estaría muy agradecido si usted procediere a dejarse caer en un pozo, para luego inmolarse dentro del mismo.
-
@nerthos I liked mine better. It was funnier.
-
@nerthos Si.
-
@anarchycarcino I didn't understand it. It made no sense.
-
@nerthos Aww, I don't like wells.
-
@zeldatra "Pozo" is both well and hole
-
@nerthos I just took one.
-
@nerthos It's a movie reference.
-
@anarchycarcino though i'm always up for some friendly practice, anyone can add me if they have a blizzard game, zelashoculah@gmail.com :)
-
@anarchycarcino Well, you basically said "It ended of being revoked"
-
@nerthos Hence why my grammar is terrible. Everything's bananasing backwards.
-
@zeldatra Basically the same happened to me when I started with English, I just had the advantage of English being a very simple language, whilst Spanish is unnecesarily complex.
-
@nerthos "Its just been revoked."
-
@nerthos Really? I just find placement to be bad. Conjugation and reflexives are pretty easy.
-
@anarchycarcino "Acaba de ser revocado"
-
@zeldatra Yeah, but that's because like, half of the conjugations are never used.
-
@nerthos The only one I've never used is vosotros, since they only use that over in Europe.
-
@zeldatra Yeah, it's an archaic conjugation used only in Spain. And then there are the likes of "rompiese", for example.
-
@nerthos I know what it is. I suppose the only time I get confused is when it comes to formalities. I always use "tu" conjugations when you're supposed to use "el"
-
@zeldatra *usted, but they're the same conjugation-wise.
-
@zeldatra Oh, yeah, those can be kind of weird at first.
-
@nerthos English.
-
@anarchycarcino I just gave you the proper translation.
-
@nerthos My Spanish is much too advances for you.
