  1. I hate reading up on politics. Reminds me everyday how the world is spiraling downwards in flames

    1. @renovatedkitchen I'm not sure if Nine Inch Nails "The Downward Spiral" or any "In Flames" album would better fit this statement. I think "The Downward Spiral".

      1. @omni its such a bother that some governments control their people like lab rats. Don't care about their well being, but just that everyone follows their laws and pays them. They would rather us be like robots than ourselves.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 15:49:35 UTC from MuSTArDroid
        1. @renovatedkitchen I think all governments are guilty of this, up to some extent, some worse than others.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 15:50:32 UTC from web
          1. @omni yeah. Like v said from V for vendetta. People shouldn't be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 15:53:08 UTC from MuSTArDroid
            1. @renovatedkitchen so true.

              1. @techdisk like how now Canada is cracking down on torrents. The hell, Canada.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:40:00 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                1. @renovatedkitchen yeah. I think TPB is blocked now... Come on Canada, its illegal to /upload/ here. Its perfectly fine to /download/! (Well, that's what I heard last, at least.)

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:42:49 UTC from web
                  1. @techdisk I mean, anywhere else, sure. But Canada is loosing it's good rep

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:45:13 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                    1. @renovatedkitchen :/ I know... dammit.

          2. @omni maybe it's because nothing interesting is happening, everything is smooth these days, so they all try to pin point tiny issues, make a big deal of them and over do things. Kinda like a really boring day at work, then suddenly there's one thing to do. Everyone tries to step in and do something so that they aren't bored. I think that's kinda like how all governments now that the world wars have stopped

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 15:56:12 UTC from MuSTArDroid
        2. @renovatedkitchen Hey! Any progress on your car?

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:00:01 UTC from web
    2. @renovatedkitchen sucks about your muscles, I hope that heals soon. Hopefully the strut won't be too bad. 800 seems pretty brutal. Good to have progress though.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:06:47 UTC from web
      1. @xeleanorxrigbyx yeah. It's still a mystery if it will start. $800 is a pretty good guess as they cost me nearly $3000 for all 4

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:09:36 UTC from MuSTArDroid
        1. @renovatedkitchen geez. I may part with the Audi soon. :(

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:10:05 UTC from web
          1. @xeleanorxrigbyx so I've heard. Doesn't Rico want to hold onto it though?

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:11:24 UTC from MuSTArDroid
            1. @renovatedkitchen He thinks that all cars will have trouble, and there's no reason to sell this one if whatever else we get will have trouble. I'm leery because the rack and pinion isn't the only issue, and while all cars will have trouble they won't all have the part costs like Audi does.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:12:20 UTC from web
              1. @xeleanorxrigbyx that's true. That's why I love my Talon. Replacement parts are a dime a dozen (not all aftermarket parts) but stock parts for sure. You leaning more towards that scion or the gti?

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:15:41 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                1. @renovatedkitchen Not sure. I like the aesthetics of the GTI better, plus it's a turbo. However, it takes premium gas. The tC takes regular gas and the weight to power ratio is a bit better. I lose AWD though. >.<

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:17:31 UTC from web
                  1. @xeleanorxrigbyx in both cases :(. That will be a bummer for sure. And it is a tough call. Fun + reliable or reliable + cheap. Personally I would probably go with the scion between those two. If i was in that spot, I would be deciding between a talon and a celica gts (has a 6 speed and VVTL-i)

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:20:35 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                    1. @renovatedkitchen The Scion is a good looking car, and it's Toyota made so the parts will be freaking everywhere. I'm tempted to just take the Audi by to see how much they'd offer me for it. I've still got a $6k loan on it so I'd have to at least make that much.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:22:41 UTC from web
                      1. @xeleanorxrigbyx buying cars is both fun and stressful, because you never know if you're getting something that's going to suck your money or something that will work properly

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:25:18 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                        1. @renovatedkitchen If nothing else they'll be less than 5 years old. Not almost 13.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:27:46 UTC from web
                          1. @xeleanorxrigbyx that's true. If anything, will just be minor little things that are easy to fix

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:31:27 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                            1. @renovatedkitchen And not $1500 parts that have to be custom made.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:33:18 UTC from web
                              1. @xeleanorxrigbyx exactly. Is there lots of things that need to be fixed still on the TT?

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:34:42 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                1. @renovatedkitchen Well, let's see. The brake groans and pushes back up under 10 mph, there's a groaning noise when accelerating in 1st and R that comes from the right front tire, the headlights, taillights and dash lights randomly go out, there's a fuel line loose and it has no heat.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:36:55 UTC from web
                                  1. @xeleanorxrigbyx ouch :/ that's really no good. I'm sorry to hear :(

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:39:15 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                    1. @renovatedkitchen No idea how much all that will cost. Oh, it also needs a new set of tires. It also seems to be out of alignment.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:40:13 UTC from web
                                      1. @xeleanorxrigbyx that's enough for me to say goodbye to a car. I would also be very more depressed if all that came down on me like that

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:41:29 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                        1. @renovatedkitchen I love that stupid car. Just got a stereo in it too for my b-day. :(

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:42:03 UTC from web
                                          1. @xeleanorxrigbyx I'm sorry :( I don't want to imagine the feeling of having to give up something like that. To some people its just a car, but I know, once you get used to it, work on it and drop money into repairs, it's gotta be hard to say goodbye to it so suddenly

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:44:37 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                            1. @renovatedkitchen I got the dumb thing in July too.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:45:02 UTC from web
                                              1. @xeleanorxrigbyx that sucks :( I had my car for about 3 weeks before the starter died, water pump leaked, oil leaked and I had to fix everything else as well. It's fairly depressing

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:47:00 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                                1. @renovatedkitchen It is. I'm so torn. I don't know if I should keep it and try to keep up with the repairs or try to just settle for something else.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:48:10 UTC from web
                                                  1. @xeleanorxrigbyx well, it would be good to find out what you could get for it first and go from there. If it's enough, I would probably part ways and settle with the GTI (because I love turbo cars), or the tC if you aren't too particular

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:50:59 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                                    1. @renovatedkitchen Yeah, probably not a bad idea.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:51:31 UTC from web
                                                      1. @xeleanorxrigbyx whichever way it goes, I do wish all the best. Cars give too much stress sometimes

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:53:24 UTC from MuSTArDroid
                                                        1. @renovatedkitchen Thanks. It really is stressing me out all crazy like.

                                                          1. @xeleanorxrigbyx and mines doing the same to me. It's nice my brother left out that he's going to work everyday now and will be taking the car. Leaving me with, nothing.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 16:56:05 UTC from MuSTArDroid

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 17:05:57 UTC from MuSTArDroid

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 17:06:25 UTC from web

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 17:11:18 UTC from MuSTArDroid
