Man, I get a bit of money stashed back and my parents are screaming at me to buy them things. Something seems off with this picture...

@redenchilada The best thing to do is buy them stuff, they bought a lot of stuff for you, after all.
-
@nixter But I already got them gifts and they're yelling at me to buy them more. :< I just wanna have a bit of money to myself.
-
@redenchilada Hide your money. Hide it in a place where nobody can find it.
-
@redenchilada Hmm... now that's a real pickle. Just say that you need to buy other people stuff. Or something. Lying is always good! Politicians do that and they are rich and powerful and whatnot so, uh, yeah.
-
@nerthos In an empty beer bottle and leave it on your lawn, no one will touch it.
RDN's Lucifer likes this. -
@colfax I'd totally touch it. And steal it.
-
@colfax I'm partial to storing money inside of bricks.
-
@nerthos Ideally banks are a better solution.
-
@nixter No, banks suck.
-
@nerthos I used to be partial to using my encyclopedias for money storage.
-
@colfax Until somebody decided to learn something?
-
@nerthos But. Compound interest.
-
@nixter How many more economical crysis do you need to learn that banks aren't good?
-
@nerthos But. Switzerland.
-
@nerthos Nope, they were mine, no one else ever used them.
-
@colfax What happened then?
-
@nerthos >economical crysis >economical Crysis >Crysis
-
@nerthos The only economic crisis in which putting your money in a bank was a bad idea was the Great Depression between 1929 and 19..35?
-
@redenchilada I don't even know how to spell it.
-
@nerthos Crisis. That's how.
-
@zeldatra There's one each 10 years. The last one was caused by credits.
-
@zeldatra Wait, it was 39. Cause that's when the Germans mangoesed up again.
-
@nerthos None as bad as the American Depression. Putting your money in a bank back then (if you could even find a bank) was like sending your child to an orphanage.
-
@nerthos Nothing, the books got old, I eventually moved, and they were gotten rid of after I went through them.
-
@zeldatra So, putting your money in a bank got you rid of paying for more food?
-
@colfax I was kind of expecting an interesting story. Oh well.
-
@nerthos Ok, bad analogy. It's like burning it.
