  1. How come # so underestimates the force she feeds from? A force so powerful, it allowed her to overwhelm Princess #! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bz_0DRElWEA&t=2110

    1. @kamikaze We don't really have any source of reference for Celestia's power. Like at all.

      1. @anarchycarcino Well, she can raise the sun. a mass of ~2*10^30 kg, in a couple of seconds. Now we could guess about how far she lifts it in a short time from one of the episodes, take the distance of the sun calculate the lifting distance to get a decent idea of what she can do at least.

        1. @kamikaze Apallo lifted the sun. Zeus and Posiden were stronger. Probably Hades too.

        2. @kamikaze Assuming of course that the equestrian sun isn't actually very small and close to the planet.

          1. @ceruleanspark Good point. It may also be that Celestia doesn't raise the sun, but rotates the planet instead. That wouldn't explain the need to deal with sun and moon separately, though.

            1. @kamikaze It could also be that fulfilling those roles doesn't actually require strength, but that Luna and Celestia are functionally living access keys for moving the sun and moon.

              1. @ceruleanspark what I always figured

                1. @pony So how were unicorns able to do it before alicorns appeared in Equestria?

    2. @kamikaze that video is blocked for me oddly

      1. @pony It's just eh Canterlot Wedding. That moment when Cadence claims „My love will give you strength!“ And Chrysalis mocks, „What a lovely, but absolutely ridiculous, sentiment!“

    3. @thatonestocking We need more information.

    4. @thatonestocking Also, your theory doesn't fit in well with a unified unicorn effort to move celestial bodies.

      1. @kamikaze The sun is a wondrous body. Like a magnificent father! If only I could be so grossly incandescent!
