does anyone make music here?
Sunday, 10-Feb-13 20:06:07 UTC from web-
@bigfun97 I did, once. Depending on how loosely you define "music."
-
@scribus what did u use?
-
@bigfun97 I make music with floppy drives. Nothing original though.
-
@bigfun97 The built-in mic on my buddy's Macbook. XD
-
@bigfun97 For one track, we looped an opening beer can for percussion.
RedEnchilada (notice the lack of a space) likes this. -
@scribus XD lol
-
@scribus I should try something like that.
-
@bigfun97 Totally low-fi DIY punk, yo.
-
@scribus DOUBLE WOW XD
-
@scribus You should share this track.
-
@techdisk Aren't you a little young to be playing the beer can? :p
-
@redenchilada http://www.last.fm/music/3+State+Killing+Spree!!/_/Cheap+Table+Wine May or may not be #NSFW lyrics. <.<
-
@scribus I'm 17, dude. Next year. Also I said something " like" that, such as fiddling with the metal thing on floppy disks.
-
@bigfun97 Yeah, 3 State Killing Spree!! were awful in every sense of the word, plus several new ones.
-
@scribus actually, yes, a little bit young because I'm only one year off.
-
@scribus good
-
@techdisk Yeah, I was playing. Also, 18 in Canada, huh? For some reason I feel like I knew this, and yet I'm still kind of surprised. What the hell, brain?
-
@scribus 3 state killing spree?
-
@scribus Who's that in the back of the band's picture
-
@techdisk you young one
-
@redenchilada I'm still torn between "Ninja Haiku" and "Gay Superman" for favorite track, though. I guess I'm most "proud" of (least embarrassed by?) "Gay Superman" because it's an actual "song."
-
@redenchilada Freaky-looking long-haired bearded mook pulling a shoddy Nosferatu pose?
-
@bigfun97 Yeah, that was the band. It's spelled with two exclamation points at the end.
-
@scribus Yeah, I think that's him.
-
@scribus ah i see
-
@redenchilada Yeah, that's me.
-
@scribus Awesome.
-
@scribus yep, 18 in Canada. Honestly I'm not gonna be drinking anyway. Back on topic, I've always wanted to do a video that uses "anything even the kitchen sink" for percussion. I think it would work with my floppy drives.
-
@techdisk That would be something, indeed.
-
@mushi yooooooooooooooooooooooou
