@mushi oh ok it's like a boy-girl friendship where the boy has a girlfriend and somebody who he thinks is a stalker but might actually an acquaintance trying to break them up for me but he doesn't know that but idk if I should tell him or not

@pony It's super complicated. So I have a best guy friend whom most people think I like. He has a girlfriend whom he seems to like a lot though. So apparently him and his girlfriend were walking to class the other day and a random redheaded 8th grader hugged him. (i wasn't there when this happened) He mentioned later that they had spoken more and refers to her as his stalker. He pointed her out to me and turns out she was an acquaintance that I had spoken to before, and one of the people who thinks I like him. She also has a boyfriend whom she's happy with, and also mentioned looking up to me as an older role model of a sort. So I did a little math and figured out that this "stalker" girl might actually be trying to break them up for my sake. I'm not 100% sure, but all evidence seems to point towards this. The problem is, my guy friend doesn't know and I don't know if I should tell him or not. He might get the wrong idea.

@desiros Sounds tricky in any case. If you think your guy friend wouldn't overreact, you could tell him your suspicion. I was referring to the redhead. Do you think you could find out for sure what she's up to without you know, making things awkward?

@desiros Yeah being shy is often tough.#experience If you think that would be too difficult you could try more circuitous means like asking friends who to find out for you, and even mention to the redhead in passing that you're not interested in your guy friend that way.

@desiros xD well I mean.. if you ARE interested in him that way, then really it comes down to how and whether you want to win him I suppose. Alternately, you could just have a friend mention to the redhead that you don't want to break them up

@desiros It comes down to how honourable you want to be. Be greedy and break up a relationship he is happy with by letting redhead do her thing. Or tell him what the redhead is really doing. Some odd laughing and nervous looks might happen but that will show him a good friend that will always have his back. If he is even half decent. If he's an cherries then it would end badly and would just prove how much you wouldnt deserve him anyway.
