      1. @scribus # # twi says in Winter Wrap Up that it's been a tradition in ponyville for "hundreds of years," but if you remember the family appreciation episode, Granny Smith says she and her family were the first to settle and found Ponyville. I've become obsessed with this connection in the show

            1. @crusader8 Because we two got too deep into that topic and started the whole "granny smith is the highlander" thing.

        2. @crusader8 Well, I guess if "An apple a day keeps the doctor away," the Apple family would have some damn solid health going on.

                2. @crusader8 Lies! If you put something on your head, then you have hatted it. Also, if hat is not a verb how can you have the Mad Hatter?

                  1. @scribus a Hatter is a term for a profession, not someone who commits the verb of the namesake. A cobbler doesn't necessarily cobble, for example, iirc.

    2. @widget Power supply (I hope it was the PSU, anyway) on my good computer died, I'm running an ancient Dell ATM. It won't hang with video. Nothing AFAIK wrong with the stream (aside from occasional regional copywrong nonsense I've seen).

    3. @widget not necessarily. Different Actors, which means different noses, which changes everything but how they sit on toilets.

    4. @widget In some senses of the word(s) "same" and/or "old," I guess so?
