    1. @flaredancer They're still playing that one?

      1. @theglark I guess? This is the first time I saw it

        1. @flaredancer I think it debuted at the [redacted sports event].

          1. @theglark Ah, okay. I didn't watch the [redacted sports event]

            1. @flaredancer It was kind of awesome. Pro wrestling is less predetermined than the last [redacted sports event] was. Just, watching the refs basically hand it over to . . . whichever team won, I've already forgotten. :P

              1. @theglark I wanna say the [Large Black Birds], but don't quote me on that

                1. @flaredancer Sounds right enough.

    2. @flaredancer Is that the one where he rides the pistachio?

      1. @yodelerty Possibly. I just remember going "... O.o?"

Wednesday, 27-Mar-13 05:19:17 UTC from MuSTArDroid
        1. @flaredancer Yeah, I pretty much had the same reaction.

    3. @widget It's a sort of inside joke. We worked for an advertising company and we'd get sued if we used the name, team names, team logos, and possibly too close to the team colors if we used them without paying for the rights

    4. @widget Something of a joke from her workplace/my old one. Every year, when it rolled around, the memos would come out reminding us not to use its name, lest we get the feet sued out from under us.

    5. @widget Yeah, it's more O.o? than funny

Wednesday, 27-Mar-13 05:34:49 UTC from MuSTArDroid
    6. @widget Yeah, they charge ridiculous amounts for the rights, too

      1. @flaredancer I've read that the lengths they go to are not legal, but nobody has the lawyers to fight it out in the courts.

        1. @theglark That doesn't surprise me

Wednesday, 27-Mar-13 05:40:03 UTC from MuSTArDroid
    7. @widget Sounds perfect! :D

    8. @widget That's the thing, though. They'll argue that damn near anything is "potentially misrepresenting association."
