I overreacted last night. The drawing isn't ruined. I have a white eraser which can literally erase existance if it wanted to. Anyways, I'm heaing to my dads today for a few extra pencil crayons.

@ryanjjjj Apparently whoever makes these pencil crayons cannot tell the difference between brown and purple. I have purple and now I have a dark purple (supposed to be brown). I outlined everything already, but it's an easy fix.

@rdk Try living life where every crayon could potentially be any colour

@scoot A magical world, where every drawing becomes a Grateful Dead album cover.

@rdk lelzor i have been there, i HATE using pencil crayons, too bloody waxy. i prefer pastelzzz :3
Wednesday, 03-Apr-13 16:23:18 UTC from web-
@ryanjjjj Waxy? Maybe you press too hard or something :P I gradually darken. I shade in the color and continue to shade until it darkens. I just need brown for the outline and light brown for the fur with a bit or light orange.

@rdk nono im talking about the medium itself, it has a certain waxy effect once applied that makes it difficult to blend with other mediums for effect such as conte pencils and pastels

@ryanjjjj I just prefer the simplicity of pencil crayons :P Especially Prismacolor. It's too bad they're blood expensive!

@rdk yeah, very true, when i learned about colout thery and practices i learned blending techniques for realism using pencil and charcoal. conte and pastels just became a coloured variant or the first two. it is more expensive but you get such a cool misty effect :D

@ryanjjjj I do everything with a pencil. I've used a pencil for drawing for a very long time. I can do realism with a regular school pencil. I just don't like realism anymore. Too boring and time consuming, even if it does look amazing.

@rdk hey, thats art man. there are many ways to do it and many styles to accomplish. myself, i enjoy impressionism, realism gone wild :3

@ryanjjjj I think the only drawing I'm proud of now is the Rainbow Dash one I've shown you :P

@rdk yeah that one was really well done, i struggle a little bit with coloured pencil mediums personally.

@ryanjjjj Been using 'em since I was a kid. So I'm rather versed in anything pencil.
