Game developers: Stop saving game data in Documents. It clutters up the folder.

@redenchilada What is this, 1997?

@widget I always liked when games save either in an easy to access folder or their installation folder.

@widget I'm partial to just keeping it in the game folder. I also prefer when games don't need installers, though. Keep everything portable so I could stick it on a flash drive if I wanna.

@widget Old school but good still. Axes are old school and yet they are more reliable than chainsaws.

@widget Simplicity over security.

@widget Ignorant users fail to do even that, and the ones who aren't ignorant are more than capable of copying the save folders from the games. Going all out for use simplicity leads to more complex technology with less capable users. Read about the STC on Warhammer 40k for an example of how that ends up backfiring. http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Standard_Template_Construct#.UV-W_pOaE2w

Saturday, 06-Apr-13 03:32:31 UTC from web-
@pokestrike Had to break a safe. Found it inside.

@kanra Are you referencing a game or did you really steal a revolver from a safe

@pokestrike Fallout New Vegas. Your theory is far funier though.
Saturday, 06-Apr-13 03:37:52 UTC from web-
@kanra Yes it is, yes it is.

@pokestrike It'd be hilarious to have a guy steal a revolver and post here from his phone as he breaks into some place with a the gun.

@widget That's why I install small programs into C:, and games and other stuff that can run without registry, as well as servers and other big things in D:

@widget Having all the installers for the important programs in one single folder or DVD makes reinstalling as simple as installing the OS, the folder, and copying back the backup.
