        1. @pokestrike Dude. Seriously. Tell a superior. It's the other kids' word against your bruises.

        3. @pokestrike Get a spoon and a lighter. While he's doing something else, heat the spoon. When he tries to do something to you again, you leave a nice second degree burning on him.

          1. @nerthos @wafers It's a girl and I don't hurt women it's wrong

Monday, 08-Apr-13 21:36:31 UTC from web
            1. @pokestrike No, it's wrong to hurt ladies. She's not a lady. She's just vermin in female form. She attacks you, therefore giving you the right to defend yourself and moral high ground. Punch her in the stomach.

        4. @pokestrike Egg him on to try and throw the first punch and after he does uppercut him in the chin

Monday, 08-Apr-13 21:31:43 UTC from web
          1. @wafers @nerthos I get you guys are just joking, but you shouldn't be encouraging an 11-year-old to get violent toward other people.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 21:33:28 UTC from StatusNet Android
            1. @redenchilada Joking..right. As long as they throw the first punch it's self defense.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 21:34:40 UTC from web
            2. @redenchilada Who's joking. If he does that, the other kid will fear him.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 21:35:33 UTC from web
              1. @nerthos @wafers Then that's even worse. My point stands. At that age the adults who are /supposed/ to be watching for that should be brought into the situation.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 21:38:13 UTC from StatusNet Android
                1. @redenchilada They failed to stop it from happening in the first place, do you honestly think they'll fix the problem in the long run? By retaliating in an extreme way, you make the cultrip feel fear of something even worse. That's how you deal with animals.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 21:40:08 UTC from web
                  1. @nerthos I dealt with getting picked on a lot in 9th grade. The people around aren't watching at all moments for any sign of a fight. The kids have to bring it up /as it happens/.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 21:42:02 UTC from StatusNet Android
                    1. @redenchilada I dealt with being picked on with things like putting a pen against the back of the heads of the little felons. It worked marvels.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 21:43:50 UTC from web
                      1. @nerthos I'm just saying that doing stuff like that has consequences later on. There's no point doing it in a class of fifth graders if (and this is the kicker) the school faculty does something about it.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 21:51:22 UTC from StatusNet Android
                        1. @redenchilada It doesn't really have consequences if you do it right.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 21:52:35 UTC from web
                          1. @nerthos But you're forgetting the power of numbers. He's up against a group of kids here. If he tortures one, the rest are all gonna gang up on him instead.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 21:58:20 UTC from StatusNet Android
                            1. @redenchilada That's when he gets a chair and causes some serious injuries.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 21:59:35 UTC from web
                              1. @nerthos And when the other kids get the faculty involved? (Assuming he actually /did/ do something so brash) I'd get detention just for returning an aggressive remark. My older brother got /suspended/ once for the same. The teachers don't care about who feels bad or what, only about who has bruises and who's giving them out.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 22:09:23 UTC from StatusNet Android
                                1. @redenchilada That's why you hit places like the stomach, that don't leave marks, and why terror is so much better than punches and kicks, because it does much more damage in the long run.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 22:11:23 UTC from web
                                  1. @nerthos Punches and kicks are but a progenitor to eventually exploiting the fact that you can crush them in an instant, resulting in fear.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 22:14:29 UTC from web
                                    1. @wafers But a wire around the neck and a couple words can do the same without risk of consequences.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 22:16:01 UTC from web
                                        1. @rarity And your point is? If they're into sadism at that age, there's no hope of redemption. That "they're only 11" crap is what causes them to harrass eachother in the first place. If they were beaten when caught, they wouldn't dare. And without ever harming others in their childhood, they'd get to adulthood thinking they couldn't get away with harming someone else.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 22:18:48 UTC from web
                                          1. @nerthos I'm not getting in a debate with you about something like this. I just want you to know that I think you need to tone it the dole down

                                            1. @wafers Exactly. Crush that childish cruelty and it will never surface again. Let it mature and you'll never get rid of it.

                                        1. @wafers But it doesn't cause the same "This guy is used to killing" effect.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 22:22:24 UTC from web
                                  2. @nerthos I'm just saying. If he gets the faculty involved instead, the kids picking on him - and all their pals - start getting reputation as trouble-starters. That gives him more footing if they try something again. A kid can ignore psychological torture of that form if they try hard enough, but tarnish their reputation and they're left with nothing. That's how I got through the 9th grade, anyway.

Monday, 08-Apr-13 22:18:45 UTC from StatusNet Android
