so... i'm thinking of getting a breton for the acrobat summoner thing, is it good?

@mushi Actually Breton might be way better than Altmer. Especially if you mainly depend on Conjuration instead of Alteration and Destruction. Illusion and Alchemy are always nice added bonusses

@critialcloudkicker i want to be more foccused on conjuration
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:13:30 UTC from web-
@mushi @critialcloudkicker You could actually resort to "the apprentice" instead of "the atronach" if you prefer to have natural Magicka regeneration but would take more damage from all types of hostile magicka

@critialcloudkicker those are the bithsign things, right?
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:15:38 UTC from web-
@mushi The Apprentice, The Atronach, The Mage, and perhaps argueably The Steed are indeed Birthsigns which probably will suit you best
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:19:02 UTC from web-
@critialcloudkicker cool ^^ i will check them
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:19:39 UTC from web -
@critialcloudkicker The attronarch isn't good for a summoner, since it relies on spell absorption and the summoning will recieve all the spells.
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:20:07 UTC from web-
@nerthos Someone like me would argue that summons are indeed cannon fodder and... That makes it a solid choice...
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:21:42 UTC from web-
@critialcloudkicker Exactly. The sumon is cannon fodder, therefore you won't get any spells to absorbe. Better go for a sign with magicka regeneration since you'll have a lot of time to recover while the summon is fighting.
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:23:46 UTC from web-
@nerthos If you keep in mind to run each and everytime you are targeted by a nasty mage and let your cannon fodder do the talking, yes. The Birthsign's "The Apprentice" "The Mage" and argueably "The Steed" would be way better. Alas telling your foe to attack not you but your conjuration might be tricky at times.

@critialcloudkicker Spells are easy to avoid though if you're wearing light armor.
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:29:47 UTC from web-
@nerthos Are ATI Radeon's any good?
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:30:43 UTC from web-
@zeldatra Yes, as long as the GPU/CPU/Chipset configuration you choose is good. Mine has been running high end games for year and a third without problems.
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:32:02 UTC from web-
@nerthos Alright. I wont be high end gaming, but I don't think Intel Integrated will be enough for me.
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:33:39 UTC from web-
@zeldatra Remember to choose a motherboard that supports the desired GPU line.
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:34:28 UTC from web-
@nerthos Thanks!
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:37:56 UTC from web-
@zeldatra No problem.

@nerthos That stuff is still going on ? I thought that nowadays if the slow was ohkay it did not matter what kind of GPU you threw on your motherboard.

@critialcloudkicker *slot ... typo
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:41:01 UTC from web -
@critialcloudkicker Better safe than sorry.
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:44:06 UTC from web-
@nerthos True, but if I want an Intel motherboard with an Intel processor and an ATI 79XX family GPU Crossfire setup, who tries to keep me from doing just so ?
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:45:23 UTC from web-
@critialcloudkicker As I said, you just have to check the chipset, GPU and CPU are compatible. There's no reason for them not to be, but some particular lines have problems with specific configurations.

@critialcloudkicker Next up is the specialization, Which is sort of a no-brainer since you want to damage and use a whole lot of Magic ( so the choice of Magic, Combat or Stealth should be an easy one )
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:21:12 UTC from web-
@critialcloudkicker After that you can choose a preconstructed set of mayor skills and attributes, or make your own. I do not think that the game itself has the precon you would like, so make your own. Take the skills and attributes you would use the most. For attributes I think I would recommend Intelligence ( more Magicka ) and Willpower or Speed ( Willpower will give you better Magicka regen and influences fatigue. Speed will influence your movement speed and jumping height )
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:26:38 UTC from web-
@critialcloudkicker Jumping height is based on agility I think.
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:30:51 UTC from web-
@nerthos Agility affects bow damage, fatigue, and chance to dodge.
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:32:27 UTC from web -
@nerthos Agility =1,000,000,000 why am i dead every tike i jump
Thursday, 18-Apr-13 00:32:31 UTC from web-
@therainbowdashx Attributes are hard capped at 255

@mushi @critialcloudkicker @nerthos Now that I think of it. There used to be a bug for the PC that was fixxed in patch 1.2 I believe. If you take "The Apprentice" as birthsign, and create your own spell later in the game, and give it 1 negative ailment ( such as -1 STR for yourself, but 120 DMG for your target ) the game would double both values
