@lordsombra87 Does it have to be ugly? I feel like it would be a gradual fall from power, followed by a collapse of the Republic and an establishment of a new government.

@zeldatra I'm pretty sure ugly an violent crumbling is better for those who live inside than slow, decaying dystopia. Imagine SOPA, patriot law, surveillance drones, and famine. Multiply that by 3 and there you have the gradual fall from power of a militarized state.
