@ponygi Well I don't really think the people as a whole should vote on gun laws. I think people who have training and knowledge on weapons should vote over those laws. People with training in their use, rifle associations, the gunsmith syndicate, and other factions that actually know how to use them. Not people on the military though because they're off the equation completely, since they /require/ the use of weapons.

@ponygi Yeah but you can just make the legal punishment for illegal gun ownership far more severe. I personally would propose a law to damage the hand's sinew via surgery of people who are caught with illegal weapons, in a way that they couldn't effectively use a gun but they can still use a hammer or a plier to work.
