Just got back from watching Monsters University. It was pretty good. I like the first one better, but this one was by no means a disappointment. It had a lot of callbacks (call-forwards?) to Monsters Inc., some of which were hilarious. For example, A lot of the music was re-arranged versions of the first film's score, including a chase scene with music almost identical to the first film. This gave me a strange feeling of nostalgia, something I don't feel very often. All in all, great film, go watch it.

@zeldatra Good to know, I was concerned it would be a huge cliched disappointment

@dewnor That is to be expected of Pixar, if their recent films lack the heart and soul of their older works, they have always been the best animators in the business.

@dewnor I remember when they did that for Toy Story 3 and they had to recreate all of the models from the past two films because they didn't work anymore.
