    1. @pony Pretty sure they're naked eye visible. Don't they emit actual light?

      1. @ceruleanspark in MMMMystery Express Rarity's aura was either too subtle to see or hidden by the dark when she close the curtains.

      2. @ceruleanspark In the s3 premier, also, the ponies at the cafe might have reacted more surprised if they hadn't seen Twilight's aura when she sang "Levitation would have been a breeze"

      1. @pony The question is: How long as Chrysalis been impersonating Cadence? It's entirely possible that her /entire relationship/ with Shining Armor was faked, and that he didn't know any better.

        1. # # @ceruleanspark That thought occurred to me just yesterday actually. I suppose she has a good excuse for her aura changing. Twilight also may have been more suspicious because of it.

          2. @pony I'm not sure that Twilight would even remember Cadences aura. Would you be able to tell if a person you met 10 years ago had changed eye color?

            1. @ceruleanspark True.. That reminds me.. I'd have thought that the difference between the disguised Chrysalis's eye color and her aura might have been further evidence that something wasn't right (despite Celestia's aura not matching her eye color). I get that it was dramatic irony, but it makes the other ponies look dumb for not noticing since they seem to be able to see the auras just fine otherwise.

            2. @ceruleanspark interesting fact: women have significantly better recall for faces and names than men. Twilight wasn't very social, but with her well-tuned hippocampus she must have been able to remember somepony so close to her.
