@nerthos I was really interested in it because my first school (p-2) was religious, and then my second school (3-6) had religious education up to 5th grade. We don't do that stuff in high school though so I lost interest

@vampirequeen I went to a religious school for first grade and the previous year (I don't know the equivalent on your system, here it's the first obligatory year, at age 5) but even at the time I didn't agree with some doctrines, like the whole "Kneel to show how small you are when compared to God" stuff.

@thepinkiepiex Even when I was 6 I was a pretty arrogant guy, and I wouldn't kneel to an absent god. If he wants my reverence, he might as well come to earth and tell me directly, since it's not supposed to be such a big deal to Him. If some dude in a dress tells me "No you have to kneel to show respect to God" I'll just tell him to do it himself.

@thepinkiepiex Those are illegal here. It's funny because my mother tells me that at the time I was a really good christian. There was this time when the class went to the chapel and everyone had to ask god for something, and everyone was basically "I want a bike" or the like, and I went and said "I want the floodings (there were floodings in some zones of the country at the time) to end because the people is suffering"

@nerthos Yeah, age 5 is the first year. It's called "Prep" here. My school was not like that, it was all about being good and kind and letting God into your soul and being polite to your elders and stuff like that. It had good morals but also pretty old school stuff in the textbooks (E.G. boys must stay on the outer side of the sidewalk when with a lady so if a car drives on a puddle the boy and protected her from getting dirty) but otherwise it was a nice school. It was very small, though, so that's why I moved

@vampirequeen The one I went to was a really big and expensive school with a chapel and priest and sports park and everything. Even though the administration of the place is pretty stupid, the building is beauiful.

@nerthos Nice! Ours was a private school but since it was small it was really expensive. Also my parents said it stunted my emotional growth since everyone was nice? And so when they put me in a big public school it was basically them saying "welcome to the real world jackass"

@vampirequeen Cool. I had a gang leader stage at a point too. We even managed to get free icecream once because I learned the schedule of the food guys and knew when the kitchen was empty with the window open and there was this guy in my class who said "I'll sneak in and bring icecream" and he did.

@scoot Ok, there are four main characters- Ariola/Adara (haven't decided yet) Pectus, who is the main main character, and she is like an alpaca. She has powers that activate when she enters a fit of rage. Piarfe Lellrie, she is the mermaid girl, she is blind and is a siren (basically she sings and it does stuff), Cannuick Nexiu, he is a moth guy and he is a big strong guy but he wants to be a librarian. He can control those who are pure of heart. Finally, there's Scobias Hanule who is this shy goat guy. He loves nature and he wants to be courageous so he doesn't feel so weak. He can change emotions (i.e sooth Ariola/Adara's anger and stops her from murdering everyone)

@scoot The names are usually rearranged words from Google Translate and other names of characters I've written before. I've listened around a lot when I was trying to come up with powers, I've had the rage thing and mind control thing from the start, but I was inspired by the songs from a book I read recently, the main character sang healing songs and I remembered all this stuff about sirens and I got the emotion meddling from a girl I overheard on the school bus once, so I'm not all that creative, haha
