Actually ,looks like he may be going with me to a really nice "Shakesperian" bar he's heard of in Bristol! Not drinking alcohol though, but still!
-
@leonkfox Shakespearian bars are a thing? Do they play Renaissance period music on the dancefloor? Did William himself walk in and get told, "Oi, mate! You're Bard."?

@thelastgherkin Really? You went there? And without a CSI tag, no less?

@scribus "!Horatio, this old playwright has been kicked out of this bar!" "Looks like Shakespeare... B-|... was Bard." Yeah, that doesn't really work so well. OOH but "Alas poor Yorrick, I knew him, !Horatio" satisfies me on a nice level.

@thelastgherkin I have a skull on my shelf here named Yoric, and that's not a typo.
-
@colfax That's awesome. :O Do you talk to him (I'm assuming him) while you solve mysteries?
Thursday, 04-Aug-11 20:15:42 UTC from web-
@thelastgherkin Sometimes, but Hymie is a better conversationalist, he shares the shelf with Yoric

@colfax Whoa. Metal. \m/

@scribus I think I have a pic of Hymie wearing my bicycle helmet somewhere...

@thelastgherkin @scribus http://preview.tinyurl.com/3lem67c But now he's on the shelf wearing a pair of Real-3D glasses.
-
@colfax Dag, yo, I can't find a bicycle helmet that fits me that well. Dead guys have all the luck.
Thursday, 04-Aug-11 20:26:57 UTC from web-
@scribus That's a Giro, they're one of the few that make them large enough to fit me, and I prefer them to Bell.
-
@colfax I'll try to keep that in mind, thanks.
Thursday, 04-Aug-11 20:29:03 UTC from web-
@scribus That one is a Giro Atlas II but I don't think they make it any more, it's a couple years old.

@colfax For a minute I'd thought you'd attached a miniature bicycle to the back of his helmet. I think I like Hymie better.

@thelastgherkin No, I have a rack in my living room with my beater Mongoose that I use to haul a trailer around and a 1976 Motobecane.
-
@colfax You had me until "beater Mongoose".
Thursday, 04-Aug-11 20:36:52 UTC from web-
@thelastgherkin Hey, I needed a cheap bike, I got a 'goose and gave it a good going over, I've had it a few years now and the only thing I've had to do is patch innertubes a couple times.
-
@colfax Ooh, I recognise a lot of those words.
Thursday, 04-Aug-11 20:42:02 UTC from web-
@thelastmoon Ummm... ok... good to know I'm still speaking something closely approximating english.
-
@colfax It's not you, it's me! I'm bike-illiterate. I haven't ridden a bike in... seven years? Let alone shopped for one.
Thursday, 04-Aug-11 20:46:24 UTC from web-
@thelastmoon Here: http://preview.tinyurl.com/3ckkza2 The Mongoose is the ugly thing on the bottom, the Motobecane is the work of art on top.
-
@colfax Ah. Now I know!

@colfax I used to have a skull I called "Bob," but I left him in the back of my closet when I moved out of the last place I lived.
