@derpyshy oh cool! It depends on the tone of the show. I usually kind of like Law and Order (not the spinoff series) because of the strong justice theme and moral questions, but I dislike Cold Case and The Closer because the forensics don't appeal to me enough to override the depressing feeling I get from them. I enjoy Bones because of the humor and relationship stuff and the characters are entertaining. Same with Monk. I tolerate Numbers because of the interesting math stuff, but that usually doesn't hold my interest enough for me to really enjoy it... Before getting married I never watched forensics shows. :P My wife loves them.

@pony Ah, I see. Well, the main character in Perception might be somewhat similar to Monk, but he's a little bit more Sherlock-y (BBC's Sherlock, that is). The show focuses a lot on different disorders, and so far it's pretty interesting and funny. (On episode 4 now)
