    I have no style, if drawing a pointy chin on chibis count as a different style then I do have one, but if no, then I have no artistic style, I draw for fun, to relive stress in a non ninja gaidin way

      @pokestrike Anything I have that remotely resembles style came from trying to imitate others. Turns out I like to draw cartooney.

        @commodorecrazycommanderofthe1stroyalbrigadeofspiceracksandcheese I think that imitation is fine, I've drawn things in the Adventure Time style and suchlike out of appreciation, but so long as you can draw your own way too. That's all I'm saying. People show up to places only knowing how to draw in a very specific anime style and while it looks great, it's not really being able to draw, it's just being able to recreate someone else's style.

            @commodorecrazycommanderofthe1stroyalbrigadeofspiceracksandcheese Absolutely. I actually learnt to draw through imitating Sonic the Hedgehog box arts, followed up with cartoons I liked and then I felt this intense desire to make my own things and follow my own path. Imitation is fine early on, so long as you explore too.
