  1. I wonder if there are genetics researchers working on making Pokémon?

    1. @pokestrike I think domestic catgirls take priority.

      1. @nerthos I'll murder them if they don't make Pokémon first priority, f*** their anthro research

        1. @pokestrike You can't [redacted] pokémon. Well you may be able to but I'm pretty sure that's blasphemy on many levels and also illegal in most countries.

          1. @nerthos F*** what's right, I want Pokémon

            1. @pokestrike What for? They'd bring fiery ruin to this world.

              1. @nerthos So I can form a Pokémon revolution and take over America and they all have to pray to Arceus or else Darkrai will haunt their dreams

                1. @pokestrike I don't think that's how it works. In the event that they're created they'll most likely be feral and highly restricted.

                  1. @nerthos I dunno, if /russia/ can successfully genetically engineer domestic red foxes, they could probably also engineer well behaved pokemon

                    1. @ceruleanspark Maybe aesthetically resembling pokémon, but to get them to shoot fire AND be domestic?

                      1. @nerthos Getting them to shoot fire at all is problematic

                        1. @ceruleanspark Well I think getting them to fire combustible oil should be easy. There's many animals with fluid-launching defense mechanisms, and also many animals with oil glands. Make them produce flammable oil and spit it, and there you have a species that won't likely survive on it's own and would also cause billions on property damage.

                    2. @ceruleanspark Though if they did manage the foxes thing, then Russian sciencists might know what the fox say.

                      1. @nerthos I posted a youtube video demonstrating what the fox in fact says.

                          1. @nerthos A lot of canines have "singing" vocalisations.

                            1. @ceruleanspark I'm not particularly learned in regards to canines, because by the time I started learning details about animals at large I was already fed up with dogs.
