@critialcloudkicker Because I wanted a challenge. Nuzlocke rules make the game much harder on you, but you have to enforce the rules yourself since they're not official or anything.

@flamingpandaomg Pokemon games need to make that mode official somehow. Even just a "hard mode" cheat code that does it. It'd be awesome.

@redenchilada There's a 'hard mode' in Black 2 or White 2 if you send the mode through IR connections from Black 2, but all it does is make trainer pokemon between 1-5 levels above the normal depending on how far you are in the game, makes their AI more intelligent, and gym leaders have an extra pokemon / their old pokemon have different movesets / held items.

@flamingpandaomg I just found that on http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Nuzlocke_Challenge ... I am almost tempted to do that when I pick a random next pokemon game ( I still need to find out whether I would like Pokemon X/Y )

@fluttershout Because I can't finish it without a friend with Black 2 to send me the Pokemon I can't get without having the other version, and 3 Pokemon rely on you having purchased a 3DS application to get them through it and then transfer over.
