@equestriacivildefense I'm planning a live viewing of the premier episode.. I don't know how the livestream works yet though.

@equestriacivildefense I'm probably not going to see any of it untill it comes on treehouse. My service provider doesnt have hub. But man, its going to be one hell of a ride when we see Twilight.

@equestriacivildefense Utah has the highest bronies per capita so I'm pretty fortunate that way.

Here's a topic we all need to consider. One that will end up happening eventually. What is going to happen to the brony fandom. with all our love of G4, and the mane six. When Hasbro begins G5?

@circuithooves oh god. i dont know. maybe g4 will be like law and order or the simpsons and last for 26 years or more. the simpsons are on like season 27 or 28.

@equestriacivildefense Right, and if they don't. Maybe they'll at least bring a few ponies in the next gen. Pinkie pie will obviously be brought.

@circuithooves Unless it's really good most of the fans are gonna move onto other things. And even if it is, we're not gonna see another big explosive fanbase like FiM got. Most of the novelty of grown men liking My Little Pony has long worn off, pretty much leaving just the die-hard fans to remain. There'll likely still be a few small communities around, like there are for things like Invader Zim and Ed, Edd n Eddy, but nothing huge like what happened this time.

@circuithooves i mean in equestria girls only happened because of us. the theme remix was supossed to be a hint at music bronies like tombstone, bronydanceparty, wooden toaster, omnipony, alex s, silva hound, and so amny more.

@equestriacivildefense Most people who get into the fandom tend to have a fleeting interest for the show, and leave it once it entertains them. They're not really /obsessed/ with it, like a "hardcore brony" would be. Not that there's anything wrong one way or the other (until you start treating it like a religion). Just that a lot of folks are gonna join and leave the fandom over time. At least it's not as bad now as it was at the peak of the whole shebang, when most people "into" ponies were just trying to be hip and relevant.

@redenchilada @circuithooves Personally I'll be devoted for at least 5 years minimum to the fandom based on my previous experience with PPG. It could and probably will be longer, but I don't know. I think the novelty hasn't worn off completely. There are still lots of people who've never heard of bronies.

@redenchilada @circuithooves @equestriacivildefense I'll always be a fan even if/when I'm not part of the community. The only thing that would stop me from being part of the community is if a big life changing thing happened to me or the community stopped being active.
