  1. I think I need to switch more towards an open game. At the very least, I need better pawn structure. And maybe a better opening/middlegame transition. !chess

    1. @scribus You mean to tell me you don't just move your pawns around randomly and pray for the best?

      1. @flamingpandaomg I'm trying not to. Now I move them with something specific in mind, forget it a few moves later, and hope for the best.

    2. @scribus Finding a really well working pawn structure is difficult; I believe I've also noticed that you're rather quick at reverting to using the Queen. This is from the one game I played with you and the end board of another game you showed us. As long as you haven't had a problem with this stratagem I suppose it's ok, but seems kind of risky. Then again I can't talk.

      1. @awlpony I am pretty quick on the queen, yeah, and it does cause me some grief. Another thing I need to keep in mind.

        1. @scribus None of my strategies even work, so. I try to generate a pawn structure but it pretty much fails because I can't think very far ahead.

          1. @awlpony I've been reading a basic chess book & watching some videos on youtube from thechesswebsite.com - clear, innformative, and ranging from basic to advanced.

            1. @scribus Well if it helps develop your game, why not.
