@pony I am feeling very happy today, thanks for asking. Today was charity day, and charity day always makes me happy.

@dropsterdash that sounds awesome. I like doing service projects and volunteer work personally. What kind of charity did you enjoy?

@pony Well, basically the story behind my version of charity day is: Of all the money I make, no matter where I get it, I take 20% and stash it away. Then, when I hear of a cause I'd like to support, I give it to them. It gives me a sense of purpose.

@pony Thanks! I like to think so. And whenever I fond it hard to give, I remember that there are people living off of less than 20% of what I make. That generally sobers me up.

@dropsterdash totally! I know one RDN member who's currently homeless, jobless, and could loose many of his possessions come the middle of November.

@dropsterdash nice. I intend to get him some help to move his stuff to storage, but he needs a long term solution. Mostly i think he needs local connections to support him. #friendshipismagic But it may be good for him to find a better state too maybe. NJ sounds really rough as far as the job market goes.

@pony Well, I may not have A solution, but I wanted to help him in any way that I can. I was planning on sending him 10% of my income on a monthly(ish) basis. Not sure how much that will help, but I would like to try anyways. I just need to talk with him and make sure he is who he says he is. No judgement intended, but giving money to someone on the internet like this is risky at best, so I just need to be sure.

@dropsterdash yeah I get what you mean. Once I've set up transportation for his stuff I'll be able to attest to his identity, but I don't doubt the information he's given me is true.

@pony Thanks, but don't get to exited, I don't make that much money. Ten percent of my monthly income is $10-$20, so I'm not sure how helpful it'll be. But every bit counts, right?
