@redenchilada So far, there's @rarity, @mastertdi, @scribus, you, @mrmattimation, @snowcone, @coffeecream, @foxgopher, and myself. I'm not 100% sure what we should do when it comes to what to base their looks off of. The entire idea is that you're wearing a virtual reality helmet that lets you browse websites via an avatar and other users are the same way, so if you have any ideas I'm open to them.

@prettypurpleprincesspublicprincesstimeline And quite honestly, I struggle with the fact that I enjoy Vinyl & Octavia: University Days daily. It's actually my favorite fanfic I've ever read and I have very, VERY mixed feelings about that because of its sexual content and suggestive wording. I hate that I love it, but I just can't help it. For me, I'd rather avoid reading stories like that all together in the future because I'm afraid I *will* end up liking them and further distorting my view of the show and why I originally got into it to begin with...That bothers me deeply. It's not that I slight you or any other author for doing what it is you intend to do, as it's a valid form of expression and sometimes really, really awesome...It's that I don't want my view of things to be altered as that's very important to my own creativity and artistic expression. It's hard to word why.

@clayinthecarpet I don't think you're insulting me at all. I just think you're insulting other people's enjoyment of something you disagree with. I'm also weary of your use of the word perverse. It is blatantly abusive hyperbole, especially when you don't mean to defame my opinion. There literally would not be a problem here otherwise. If you don't mean it, don't do it. What if I shared an opinion that the way you happen to shower was deeply perverse, then followed it with hyperbole of how showering is meant to be, according to my opinion? If you felt that nothing was wrong with how you shower, it would be offensive because I am impyling what you do is inferior. I may say I don't think it's inferior, but it's what I am /suggesting/, whether intentionally or otherwise. To not be offended by such a confrontational attack of an opinion would be unrealistic.
