            @pokestrike But one of the main heads behind Pokémon literally said that everyone that was on the design team took influence from things they enjoyed IRL, and Jynx's designer was a big fan of a popular blackface children's book series that was bit in Japan and influenced Jynx's design from it. Japan doesn't take offense to it like other places do.

                @thelastgherkin I'm fully aware, but considering that the actual designer behind Jynx's design said that it was from that children's book series, I tend to take his/her word. Also, welcome back since I'm slow.
