@leonkfox When episode one aired, 4chan exploded about this one pony with crossed eyes. Faust and the production team noticed. The episode in development at the time was "Feeling Pinkie Keen", in which this cross-eyed pony received a cameo. She's gone on to cameo in every episode afterwards. So yes, memes do get incorporated into the show.

@thelastgherkin Just because one meme did doesn't mean they all will, and so they shouldn't. I find ponies in socks more stupid than cute, and I don't want to see it in the show personally.

@princesstwilightsparkle Because a feral bodied equine would not wear socks...just...why?! I know this is a show about talking ponies but still, it's one of the oddest and most bewildering brony trends to me.
