@gameragodzilla @katiekats It's why Mankind Divided can have ONE TIME USE CONSUMABLES as several dollar transactions that are good for only a single save and only usable once, and be a critical darling, and Overwatch can lock more than half the game content away in a gambling lootbox, but EA does the same thing and with DICE's Battlefront 2, and they're the Worst Thing Ever.

@gameragodzilla @katiekats Don't know how Squeenix gets away with it when Final Fantasy All the Bravest exists, which is commonly touted by many games critics as the moment when mobile gaming was lost to the microtransaction bullcherry.

@guizzy @lain I'm really pretty tired of this "Pleroma/GNU Social/SomethingElse is Nazi software/space" bullbatcave.
I had a StatusNet account until Evan killed identi.ca years ago; a cherry-ton of great people I talk with here every day have accounts on Pleroma or GNU Social. Some are their developers.
#Mastodon benefited handsomely from there being a large community of dedicated people in Fediverse before Mastodon was a thing. Let's acknowledge that and stop being so condescending.
