  14. @starshine I know everyone hates to hear this but with some things Apple is what matters. Beyond the fact that microsoft has slowly been declining in usage for over a decade. Additionally, most young designers use apple computers, and most design schools primarely use apple computers. Apple is even beginning to creep into the business PC market, just ask @purpletinker what kind of computer she uses AT WORK. You could also look at the research about how more and more web content is being viewed on mobile devices, most of which don't support flash.

Tuesday, 05-Jul-11 18:41:48 UTC from StatusNet Desktop in context
  15. @starshine i don't think "works better" is the issue though. To companies that depend on SEO flash is totaly unusable. And as more and more merchants use ipads instead of computers, which don't support flash, web devs are really limiting there exposure

  16. @engelhardt it only displeases steve jobs because it's unstable and a cpu hog, he has valid reasons for disliking it

Tuesday, 05-Jul-11 18:00:24 UTC from StatusNet Desktop in context
  17. @scribus html5 is already here, it's just a matter of web devs switching over to it. I could talk all day about how bad flash is for web media. Eventually flash won't even be supported on most devices which will render it even more unstable than it already is

Tuesday, 05-Jul-11 17:52:24 UTC from StatusNet Desktop in context
  18. @scribus ayep, flash is bad in general though, but i know all too well how difficult linux can be

Tuesday, 05-Jul-11 17:48:03 UTC from StatusNet Desktop in context
  19. @colfax that's a nice way of saying she's an airhead or something to that effect hahaha

Tuesday, 05-Jul-11 17:29:04 UTC from StatusNet Desktop in context
  20. @engelhardt hey I like jazz, i played it for 10 yrs or so, and I can't stand most of that pop nonsense. I'm not a big fan of bluegrass though

Tuesday, 05-Jul-11 16:23:07 UTC from StatusNet Desktop in context
  21. @engelhardt if they were into country/western that would be a deal breaker for me, haha

Tuesday, 05-Jul-11 16:18:37 UTC from StatusNet Desktop in context

  24. @emperormiloth how about rarity, she is the sexiest pony, hehe

Tuesday, 05-Jul-11 15:31:40 UTC from StatusNet Desktop in context
  25. @broniebrown i agree it is a bit corny. But as a former musiciani tend to pay most attention to things like the complexity of chord progressions, dyanmics, if the vocalist has good support and tone quality, haha

Tuesday, 05-Jul-11 15:18:13 UTC from StatusNet Desktop in context
  26. @paperpony välkomen :)

Tuesday, 05-Jul-11 15:13:01 UTC from StatusNet Desktop in context
  27. @1greg1 great, I can't wait to see how it turns out

Tuesday, 05-Jul-11 15:07:02 UTC from StatusNet Desktop in context
  28. @broniebrown well I wouldn't compare it to any other on the CD since the CD is really a score, not a soundtrack. I thought Leona Lewis executed the vocals well though, and it paired well with the aerial scenes running under the credits.

Tuesday, 05-Jul-11 15:03:20 UTC from StatusNet Desktop in context
  29. @broniebrown i agree. The music sounds great as a score over the movie, but they're not really songs that you'd want to listen to afterward. I love Leona Lewis's song that runs over the credits though.
